Clinical Research Nurse Academy
“At the heart of every great clinical study is a nurse who asks the right questions, spots the unexpected, and acts with confidence.”
The Clinical Research Nurse Academy is built around our mission to train and empower research nurses with the clinical judgment, quality mindset, and hands-on skills essential for safe and confident support of clinical trials involving healthy volunteers and patients. We develop clinical detectives; nurses who are curious, observant, and dedicated to delivering high-quality care.
This program is designed for new research nurses, registered nurses transitioning into clinical research, and site-based teams involved in clinical studies (no prior research experience is required).

What you will learn
- Foundations of clinical trials: Understand what makes (early-phase) clinical research unique, including safety protocols, dosing schedules, and real-time data collection.
- Clinical observation skills: Learn to think like a detective; recognizing subtle signs, changes in participant condition, and deviations from expected responses.
- Protocol adherence and protocol deviations: Master adherence to study protocols, while protecting participants through active risk assessment and response.
- Practical bedside training: On-site simulations and real-world shadowing with experienced research teams.
- Communication and documentation: Ensure clear reporting, accurate data capture, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
A final exam assesses training outcomes. Upon successful completion, a certificate of DELHPINIUM will be provided.
